Assuming you are going for the north side of the mountain, the road to the trailhead for Snow Gulch or the Lone Tree Pass was starting to erode pretty badly at the end of last season. However, the rough section was probably no more than a half mile from the end of the road, so even if it is impassable, road conditions should not be much of an impediment unless there is a gate and a no parking sign.

You can drive to the trailhead. The worst part is one uphill section past the wooden bridge that has some deep holes. Seems like most cars can pass it (slowly). Trail to Lone Tree Pass is snowfree for first 1400' or so. Forest Pass is required. Initial portion is in good condition after having been cleared this past weekend.
