JasonG Posted August 15, 2005 Posted August 15, 2005 Just wondering if anyone has any experience in a similarly dry year . . .I'm mainly curious about moats around Sharfkin Col and any problems negotiating the Boston Gl or getting on the ridge itself. Thanks for any info!! Jason Quote
Juan Posted August 16, 2005 Posted August 16, 2005 Hey Jason: In early Aug. 199something, it was no problem. Go get it; great route. Sharp Quote
dbb Posted August 16, 2005 Posted August 16, 2005 If you take the sharkfin col bypass you'll have no troubles at all with moats. I don't think you'd have any trouble with the rest of the glacier or getting on to the north ridge either. just don't do the NW face at that point... the two sections will probably have loose choss between them by then.
