cragging near chelan?

i'll be camping at the lake chelan state park for a couple days in a few weeks and was wondering if there was any cragging in the area, maybe within an hours drive?

Within an hours drive? Yes, it's called Leavenworth.

i didn't realize that leavenworth was that close, though mapquest says its 1 hour and 13 minutes, which is 13 minutes too far away. i'm looking for stuff that close by so that i can get up early and climb or something. i'm camping with non-climbing people, so i'd rather not alianate myself from them by driving off to leavenworth for the day to climb.

Peshastin pinnicles is quite a ways closer. The only time you would want to climb there this time of year is early in the morning anyway.

You can go boldering down at Chelan Falls. Limited but somewhat worth it and probably 5-30 minutes from whichever campground you're staying at.

 

Also, some decent bouldering around Pateros (20-25 minutes) and some chossy stuff out the road past the Chelan airport (5 minutes from downtown Chelan).
