I have strong spirit, and have only to offer.....well,... a good personality.... Im a 33/male/happy to climb/and want to see what its like up there. If you are concerned about having the skills, get Freedom of The hills and read about route finding. Get yourself a compass and maps and learn. The NPS has a map with the heading for Muir on the website somehwere. If it's the physical thing you are worried about, just take it slow and drink lots of water. We saw all kinds of folks going up to Muir last weekend. Maybe 25% of them had any clue what it was about. I would bet most of them made it without incident.
