layton Posted April 23, 2005 Posted April 23, 2005 i'm sure some of you intel or microsoft spraysters have one you wanna get rid of. I need one a bit faster than a pentium III (celeron?), with 512mb ram, 40GB or bigger Hard drive, wireless connection thingy for coffee shops,cd burned w/dvd player (CD/RW + DVD?), and microsoft office. I'll be using it for video editing and slideshowing (i have that software). if you have this, but it doesn't have something I listed...i'm still interested, but just help me out on how to add it to your computer. thanks Quote
layton Posted April 24, 2005 Author Posted April 24, 2005 come on, all these computer nerd and no spare 'puters? i'll sweeten the deal with a photo cd chock full of brazillian ladyboy whores. Quote
Alex Posted April 24, 2005 Posted April 24, 2005 with 512mb ram, 40GB or bigger Hard drive, wireless connection thingy for coffee shops,cd burned w/dvd player (CD/RW + DVD?) laptops with these kind of components would be modern and will not be cheap. best bet is to buy new, or get a refurbished one off the internet. My dad and I bought my mom a very decent used laptop off the internet for 700$ and it was great! Quote
Alex Posted April 25, 2005 Posted April 25, 2005 http://www.overstock.com/ is good for starters. Quote
Camilo Posted April 25, 2005 Posted April 25, 2005 Mike, Check out the coupon code on www.bensbargains.net for $750 off a $1500 Dell laptop. You can set one up with everything you want, and check if the coupon works. Good luck! Oh, the right link is this http://bensbargains.net/old/arc.shtml and scroll down about 3/4 of the way to the bottom. The headline is "$750 off select $1499 Inspiron Notebooks at Dell Home". Hurry, the deal ends late tonight. If it doesn't work, that website has deals on laptops almost every day. There's also a $1000 Compaq laptop today. Quote
