I heard it was going to be free, maybe they figured out how much it would cost and changed their minds.

Maybe they figured out the members who bought the prototype like I did would be pissed off if they gave it away for free.

In other news, we are thrilled to report that late this winter you should be able to find 75 years of AAJ content online, and soon it will be available on DVD.

 

i read the implication of this was that it was gonna be free, but i guess it's not clear either way...

"The current edition of the AAJ is available in many bookstores and climbing shops, and can be ordered directly from The Mountaineers Books (www.MountaineersBooks.org; 800.553.4453). Back issues for many years are available. The AAJ will soon be available for purchase electronically on CD/DVD and as pay-per-download on the Web."

i have most of the journals from 1970 to present in hard copy anyways thanks to the great selection at PULP FICTION BOOKS! yellaf.gif
