CPOly Posted January 8, 2005 Share Posted January 8, 2005 I'm not exactly sure what conditions are like right now, but I think that with all of this fresh snow that has fallen recently self arrest would be pretty easy even without an ice axe. OlyRob Posted January 11, 2005 Share Posted January 11, 2005 I talked to a lady at Alpine Experience(in Oly) that went up Ellinor on Saturday(Jan 8th) with 2 other people. They didnt make the summit because of "To much snow" and thought the place looked prime for a avalanch. Also, I heard the place has some pretty menacing cornices right now.
