Stefan Posted December 16, 2004 Posted December 16, 2004 One little problem. Brush is horrendous in those areas. Access to those peaks with skis is troublesome. You have to want it to ski those places in the winter. Long runnouts not usual except on Whitehorse....but remember the brush??? Can use roads, but they are usually quite a distance back where you can park your car. Get a snowmobile. Quote
Schmitz Posted December 16, 2004 Author Posted December 16, 2004 I see, Fred Becky says the brush is known to make a grown man cry Quote
mattp Posted December 16, 2004 Posted December 16, 2004 It's not deep in the wilderness, but the north side ski runs on Whitehorse are awesome. Quote
Schmitz Posted December 23, 2004 Author Posted December 23, 2004 well I took a scope out hike on green mountian and got a nice pic of Liberty Mountain, looks like a long way from here but becky suggests canyon lake road. As it turns out the road has been abandond for a long time, has anyone been up here? Anyone recognize it? Quote
