Skeezix Posted October 8, 2004 Share Posted October 8, 2004 (edited) Duelfer's Iraq Survey Group drew on interviews with senior Iraqi officials, 40 million pages of documents and classified intelligence to conclude that Iraq destroyed its undeclared chemical and biological stockpiles under pressure of U.N. sanctions by 1992 and never resumed production. Soooo...the sanctions worked. Part of Cheney's response was that "delay, defer, wait, wasn't an option." I'll bet the families of soldiers who have died would take issue with the administration's unwillingness to wait, since there was no immediate threat.
