CascadeClimber Posted July 15, 2004 Share Posted July 15, 2004 I recently drove from the KC trailhead to the FR23 junction in about ten minutes, but I don't recommend it: When your partner is finally able to escape vehicle, they may refuse to get back in. 20-30 mins is probably a safe estimate, if you go the "front" way (the way that involves the least number of forest service roads).
