rockgirl77 Posted June 29, 2004 Posted June 29, 2004 Has anyone recently done Stuart via the Cascadian Couloir? What were the conditions like? Thanks! Quote
Bug Posted June 29, 2004 Posted June 29, 2004 I haven't looked at teh south side of Stuart but from looking at the south side of the mountains around it, Stuart is probably pretty snow free up to 8000', patchy to 9 and firm consolidated snow from there. Or less Quote
specialed Posted June 29, 2004 Posted June 29, 2004 Conditions are like slogging up snow on a not so steep slope for a long time while not feeling very well and fighting off terminal boredom. Bring your skis. Quote
russ Posted June 29, 2004 Posted June 29, 2004 Judging from conditions a few weeks ago, I don't think there's any snow left in Cascadian - certainly not enough to carry skis for. Quote
