glen Posted May 24, 2004 Posted May 24, 2004 "Why the hell would you need that?" you might ask. Well, my girlfriend needs a length of tough, but not necessarily strong rope for a research project on Sockeye salmon in Lake Washington. An old climbing rope would fit the bill and new kernmantle rope is beyond the funding of the project. Anyone out there have an old dead rope they can give up for cheap to help a grad student and our local sockeye population? Near UW is best. PM or email me and I'll pass on the message. Thanks! Quote
Alpinfox Posted May 24, 2004 Posted May 24, 2004 How much you need? I've got about 30' I could give ya for free. I've got 60m that I'm not quite ready to give away yet but would sell pretty cheap. $30? I live near the UW. Quote
glen Posted May 26, 2004 Author Posted May 26, 2004 A rope has been found that fits the bill. Thanks for the responses (and the rope!) Quote
