David_Parker Posted May 6, 2004 Posted May 6, 2004 Wayne and Lane just called me from the summit of the Mooses Tooth. They report it has been hot, but conditions were excellent today. Good job guys! Quote
specialed Posted May 7, 2004 Posted May 7, 2004 Werd up. Good luck to them on Huntington if they go for it. Quote
Jedi Posted May 15, 2004 Posted May 15, 2004 Glad those guys got there shot at the route. They had to hike up from the Gateway because Geeting couldn't land up near the base of the Moose's Tooth because of winds. It had been pretty warm up there (hardly freezing at night) for 4 or 5 days before they climbed it. David, could you email me the picture you posted in the body of your post? j.fitzgerald@charter.net Quote
AKdreamN Posted May 19, 2004 Posted May 19, 2004 I got the breakfast route in the sights, but the other half of the rope is going to the MRA conference in Anchorage. I'm guessing 20 June is way late for this route. Comments? Any beta on the Elevator Shaft (johnson) or SW ridge (11,300)? Quote
Jedi Posted May 19, 2004 Posted May 19, 2004 What do you want to know about 11,300? It is a really fun route which has a little bit of everything. The route on Johnson you are inquiring about is much more difficult. Jedi Quote
