i would like a cd r/w thing. prices vary from like $45 to $300. is a cheap one good enough for putting together music cds for road trips?

i be lookin at staples btw.

If you're not set in stone to Staples, you could get better quality for pretty comperable prices online at say Newegg.com or something. The risk you usually run with cheap CD-RWs is bad burns, but with a high-speed burner and the low cost of blanks, it's really more an annoyance factor.

 

For myself, my three pics for CD-RW drives: Lite-On, Yamaha, and Plextor (the King Pimp of CD-RWs).
