"Man on Fire"

I saw this the other day. Pretty sweet movie, I give it . Denzel kicked ass. Plenty of action for the fans of theatrical violence, but a touching story ta'boot.

I heard a review on the radio that panned it, big time.

 

It sounds like gratuitous violence unmitigated by a plot, but as H. L. Menken once said, "No one ever went broke underestimating the American public".

I've given up on listening to reviewers. Typically they are idiots with idiotic opinions. Yup, it was unmitigated violence, and it was entertaining for nearly the entire length of the movie. I think the plot was well established.

Which weapon was your personal favorite? I haven't seen the movie, but that looks like a nice Khar 9mm or 40cal in the video trailer. I'll bet you'd just love one of those fine weapons, wouldn't ya Josh?

 

Hey! Any good shotgun vengence action scenes? MAN; that 00 can really tear a guy up good, eh?

I was waiting for one of you tools to point out the "hypocricy" in a gun controla advocate liking a movie with guns in it. Whatever, asshat (thanks for that one Paul, it's a new favorite ). I have no idea which one was my favorite, I am not knowledgable enough to know the difference.

 

All those guns certainly did seem to be doing mexico city a lot of good tho! What an awesome place to live!

 

Yeah, the fake butter popcorn is awesome, tho I am not sure what that has to do with guns or the movie. I was saving up for the nice dinner aftwards and just had a few sips of my girlfriend's diet coke. Normally I go for some sour patch kids.
