Avalanche Activity: On Thursday in the Spearhead Range, a cornice triggered by a person standing on it, left them hanging onto rocks at the top of the ridge. Two people in the runout zone dodged large chunks. Wet loose snow avalanches are reported on sunny steeper slopes after the crust melts.

Pretty much everything in the area was starting to collapse after the very warm week up there.

There was an enormous cornice collapse onto the Tremor Glacier along the high traverse on to the glacier from Pattison. The debris field alone was enough to spark the imagination and make you want to just go home...
