I was there Saturday, too. Same route. We skinned all the way to the top. And then skied all the way back down to the lot. A beautiful day, it would’ve been a roaster but for a steady westerly wind that kept the snow nice and cold. At least 2k of pretty decent corn. No knee-deep mank was encountered.

I was up there today. TR and pictures soon. Jacks restrant (that's restaurant you dumb mother fucker...AK)was closed at 10:15 Saterday(Saturday) night so we didn't get a permit. Didn't see any rangers.

Nice, there were a lot of folks up there Saturday. Skipped the permit, but no rangers in site. Good fast climb and ski, made it back to town with plenty of time to bask in the sun and do lawnwork. I don't really give this route much thought any more but I should, its a good time. thumbs_up.gif

Hey, I was up there Saturday too. Amazing weather...we summited a little late so the skiing was marginal. I wish we wouldn't have partied so much the night before! Beautiful views but pissed about the snowmobiles on the false summit...I hate smowmobiles unless I am riding one-harhar
