jpark42 Posted April 11, 2004 Posted April 11, 2004 I am putting together a road trip to City of Rocks May 20th-24th. If you are interested in going go ahead and contact me via cc e-mail. After City of Rocks I plan on going to Joe's Valley for a couple of days, Colorado National Monument, and Colorado Springs to climb and I would sure love some company on the trip. Quote
kevinoregon Posted April 18, 2004 Posted April 18, 2004 I lived in northern Utah for a good number of years and have done alot of climbing in the City. I too have been wanting to get back down there. I could also show you some absolutely beautiful climbing on the 700-800 ft cliffs of glasier smooth granite in Little Cottonwood Canyon, SLC. I can lead to mid 11s, so will be up for just about anything. Send me a PM with the details. Quote
Distel32 Posted April 18, 2004 Posted April 18, 2004 Joe's is sick. But it is going to hot at the end of may. Get up really early, climb, then siesta at the riverside or reservoir, then evening sesh. PM me if you have any questions about Joe's. Quote
kevinoregon Posted April 19, 2004 Posted April 19, 2004 No problem. You climb the climbs that will be in the sun early in the day and move to the shady sides when it gets hot. There are plenty on both sides. You definately get an early start though. Quote
