Dennis_Harmon Posted June 10, 2002 Posted June 10, 2002 Climbing, particularly alpine climbing was never meant to further anyone's resume. There was a time not too long ago when there were just a few "maladjusted geeks" (Yvon C.) out there who climbed and they all knew and respected one another. Although there was a little sand-bagging going on, they all pretty much understood what the others were up to and everyone still considered the ethics of what they were doing. This was before the French techniques and 'Bousche' drills came to replace American climbing ethics. Dennis Quote

bellemontagne Posted June 10, 2002 Posted June 10, 2002 Nice TR JK! What day did you go up? Oh, it might be cool if you posted the trip report in the Oregon section. I spoke with Bill on Sunday, and he said he was up there on Saturday and did a FA on a project he was working on. He was pretty psyched!! bellemontagne Posted June 10, 2002 Posted June 10, 2002 Don't worry. We won't give it away. BS does a pretty good job of telling everyone about the place himself. (are we talking about the same thing?!?!?!). Quote

Dru Posted June 10, 2002 Posted June 10, 2002 No such thing as a secret crag. I like to go to "secret" crags then spray about them on the net Quote
