Still a big question mark. Why. Do you want it to be?

 

The lower washout, at mile 14, will be fixed more permanently. The Suiattle bridge, the one that goes to rattrap pass and is of little interest to climbers, may never be re-built.

Well I was thinking about going up Downey Creek. From the pictures I've seen it looks like you could still walk across the bridge so I guess it doesn't matter one way or the other really other than it would be nice to know which side of the valley I'd be walkin up.

The Downey Creek Trailhead is only a few hundred yards past the bridge, so the issue is not one of distance but one of being able to ford Downey Creek. I think it won't be that bad (assumption).
