estivate Posted March 20, 2004 Posted March 20, 2004 Still a big question mark. Why. Do you want it to be? The lower washout, at mile 14, will be fixed more permanently. The Suiattle bridge, the one that goes to rattrap pass and is of little interest to climbers, may never be re-built. Quote
hopalong Posted March 20, 2004 Author Posted March 20, 2004 Well I was thinking about going up Downey Creek. From the pictures I've seen it looks like you could still walk across the bridge so I guess it doesn't matter one way or the other really other than it would be nice to know which side of the valley I'd be walkin up. hopalong Posted March 20, 2004 Author Posted March 20, 2004 (edited) Whoops I just realized I put this topic in the wrong area. [Edit by TTT-Moved to NCascades] Edited March 21, 2004 by To_The_Top Quote
klenke Posted March 21, 2004 Posted March 21, 2004 The Downey Creek Trailhead is only a few hundred yards past the bridge, so the issue is not one of distance but one of being able to ford Downey Creek. I think it won't be that bad (assumption). Quote
