Earthlink has a pretty good deal on a one year commitment: $20 for first 3 months then $50 for the next 9. Schpeed=1.5 down and 400k up. Free modem. Is this a good deal or should I shop around? I know that alot of peeps dis elink but when I've been in desperate need of tech support they seem to have always come through. Roger Posted March 7, 2004 Share Posted March 7, 2004 I signed up with qwest fairly recently on their promotional offer that was definitely the best deal in town at the time - $30/mo. for a year, free installation, free modem. Thrashador Posted March 7, 2004 Author Share Posted March 7, 2004 tnx d00ds. roger, do you know what your up and down speeds are with qwest? the e-link deal down speed is pretty tasty. i was speaking with a qwest rep the other day who sounded somewhat impressed by the e-link deal and added a '900 lb. gorilla' comment about them.
