Dru Posted March 1, 2004 Posted March 1, 2004 Are there even really 90 billion bees in the whole of France?? http://www.guardian.co.uk/france/story/0,11882,1158826,00.html 90- billon dead over 10 years = 9 billion per year. 9 billion dead per year = 9 million hives with 1 thousand bees per hive, or 900, 000 hives with 10, 000 bees per. so if the pop of FRance is 90 million people, and one in a thousand raises bees, that would be 90,000 hives at 100, 000 bees per hive seems like an overstatement to me Quote
Greg_W Posted March 1, 2004 Posted March 1, 2004 Damn. I thought it was French PEOPLE. Oh, well; my birthday is still a few months away. Quote
