I was reminded of this looking at my album collection the other day. –thinking “Ah I ought to go buy these CDs” My question is how do the CDs sound? On good speakers or some choice Grado headphones, the remastered CD of XTC's English Settlement sounds more lively and clear, but I generally don't kick back and do that kind of close listening to Partridge & Company.
