skykilo Posted January 5, 2004 Posted January 5, 2004 I have the Big Stix 750, and I love them. I find myself feeling great at high speeds on all kinds of conditions. They are also good for steep skiing. I would recommend them without hesitation. Quote
gapertimmy Posted January 6, 2004 Author Posted January 6, 2004 sky... are they farily light? I'm looking for a lighter ski, but with some fat and shape to it Quote
JayB Posted January 7, 2004 Posted January 7, 2004 Ditto on the props for the 750's. Not an especially light ski and I wouldn't use one of the lighter, more touring oriented boots to drive them if you've got a choice. I've got Lowa Struktura EVO's and 185's, and think they'd feel a bit squirrelly with less boot. The skis themselves seem to get better the faster you go. A good ski for a mix of yo-yoing and resort skiing with the occaisional tour IMO, or for folks who want near Alpine performance on tough terrain. Not the best for long trips into the BC. Quote
