Billygoat Posted November 22, 2003 Posted November 22, 2003 Just got back from skiing up and down from Herman Saddle. Super Super Sweet Powder conditions are to be had! The snow is in great shape and well consolidated. If you have the gear (and the legs) head out for the backcountry. The ski area is about 99% used up and getting very icy. Goat Quote
chelle Posted November 23, 2003 Posted November 23, 2003 The "front"country was fun today. A little icy at times but not too bad, except right off the chair :whipeout: Got in 8 runs before my legs felt like toast and I got sloppy. It was way fun to carve turns on the blue runs. Can't wait until next time. Quote
eternalX Posted November 23, 2003 Posted November 23, 2003 Ah! You should've told me you were going up! Was up on the 'front' country as well. Had the most fun over by chair 8. Quote
chelle Posted November 25, 2003 Posted November 25, 2003 I only did one run on Chair 8 cause it was really skiied out and pretty icy. Let me know next time you make the trek and maybe we can carpool. Quote
