Elvis Posted March 25, 2002 Posted March 25, 2002 Got my Pika Mountaineering Catalog and the company's disclaimer is direct, to the point and stated the way warnings should be stated. Quoted from the catalog: We need to let you know you can die! We need to let you know that you can suffer a long, painful, miserable existence as a result of an accident, an act of God or just because someone else simply screwed up. The gear in this catalog cannot save you! It should not have to. You are responsible for your own ass. Watch out! Be careful! Knowledge is your only protection. Learn how to do things right the first time, especially when your life depends on it. Learn to fly before you jump out of the nest, Your family will appreciate it. If you are out there to get killed, please do not buy our gear. Put your hard cash towards a fancy memorial service. DON'T BECOME TALUS FOOD Quote
Figger_Eight Posted March 25, 2002 Posted March 25, 2002 That's great. It should be posted up in every gym and REI in the country. Quote

rayborbon Posted March 26, 2002 Posted March 26, 2002 They should have indicated: Warning! If this product is used in any Mounty class or objective you will certainly die! Quote
