charlie_don't_surf Posted March 5, 2002 Posted March 5, 2002 Not sure about this year but generally they just let the road melt out. Even after low snow levels last winter, you still couldn't drive all the way to the trailhead at the end of April. Check with the ranger station up there. They have been nice and courteous in the past in helping with questions. Quote
Alasdair Posted March 6, 2002 Author Posted March 6, 2002 Does anyone know if the road to Hannegan Pass trail head is accessable this time of year? If so, All the way to the trailhead? Any one been in to this area this time of year? What is it like? I am thnking about Ruth Mountain or Icy Peak. Quote
Stefan Posted March 7, 2002 Posted March 7, 2002 Road has snow blocking all vehicles 50 yards from the highway. You can take your snowmobile up it though. Quote
