catbirdseat Posted September 23, 2003 Posted September 23, 2003 He had 90 of the candidates for Governor on the show. There was this one chick who was a former porn star. He made some crack about her having already had her "ballot punched". She flipped him off and they showed it very briefly. Quote
Dan_Harris Posted September 23, 2003 Posted September 23, 2003 It's on past my bedtime. They showed part of it on the news here, but not the part you mentioned. I did see that he ripped Gary Coleman pretty good, saying he knows about Nat' Security, mall security, parking lot security. Man Pick on somebody your own size. Quote
catbirdseat Posted September 23, 2003 Author Posted September 23, 2003 Leno said something about their lawyers saying that if they showed anyone's face individually it would be tantamount to an endorsement, UNLESS they said something derogatory in every case, which is what they did. Quote
klenke Posted September 23, 2003 Posted September 23, 2003 I was watching Leno a couple of weeks ago and he was saying the NBC lawyers had calculated that the network could show an individual candidate for no more than 3.9 seconds for it to not be tantamount to endorsement. So Leno had a video clip example of this: for 3.9 seconds they showed a silent video of Marey Carey jumping up and down in a low cut top with her cleavage showing and her knockers jiggling exuberantly up and down. It was pretty funny. Â Last night for the previews to the show (I did not watch the show last night), Leno said Marey Carey had brought a sex toy along (or something to that effect) and then they cut to Gary Coleman (who was seated next to her), to which Leno said "Oh, it's just Gary Coleman." I don't know, maybe I'm not remembering the preview right. Feel free to correct me, Brian. Â Â Quote
