Looking for a partner to do Pervertical Sanctuary and the Obelisk in a day. Climb up PS and rap, climb Obelisk and rap. No summit I have already been there enough. Anyone interested let me know. You'll be 40% of the way to the exploits of Topher Donahue and Tommy Caldwell, who did 5 Diamond routes in a day last month. Quote
Sabertooth Posted August 6, 2003 Posted August 6, 2003 I thought the season on the Diamond was suppose to be really late this year, because of the high snowfall this spring. Has the wall seen any ascents yet this year? Quote
matt_warfield Posted August 8, 2003 Posted August 8, 2003 They had that big snow in March so the high peaks have been slow to clear. The Diamond got a later start than normal but things are picking up on the drier routes, with most climbers opting to rappel rather than top out. Quote
