marmoteer Posted July 19, 2003 Posted July 19, 2003 After the trail ends at the creek, boulder hop up the creek bed until you reach a creek coming in from your left, head up this and it will take you to the gully running down from the col between Alouette and Blanshard. Quote
pazzo Posted July 20, 2003 Author Posted July 20, 2003 thanks, but i mean when you get to the absolute top of Evans Creek (very top of boulder field) which gully is the right one??? there are two big gullies which lead to the top!? is it the one farthest west (the one at the end)? or is it the one just 1 or 2 hundred metres to the east (encountered first when hiking up the creek)? thanks for the quick reply!! Stemalot Posted August 25, 2005 Posted August 25, 2005 hum....to get to the Needle and Alouette col from where rockclimber described (the very top of boulders) is actually the gully to the right (when facing the routes). the left one takes you to the col between Allouette and Evan Peak. and that guy made it. see biv.
