Dru Posted June 16, 2003 Posted June 16, 2003 jordop, dberdinka and I went to Lillooet last night. Got up at 3:45 AM this morning. Started climbiong up Cayoosh Wall at 6AM. Topped out near 11:00 AM. Back to the truck at 1:15 PM. We climbed 4 or 5 pitches of 5th class rock (1.5 solid and 2.5 choss) and innumerable pitches (2000') more or less of 3rd class, 4th class, and 5.dirt. Parts of this route had been previously climbed by goats to judge by the evidence. Our route could have been much more harder and much more chestbeatworthy but darin and jordan managed to routefind us away from all the steep, loose upper walls and onto a treed ridge when they were in the lead Good times. We called our presumably new route "The Further Adventures of Trogdor The Burninator" after a Strong Bad email classic cartoon (see here) and it is Grade III 5.7 "Dee-Zero" (d for dirt) Potential sponsors may send free stuff to my PO box Quote
