Off_White Posted May 21, 2003 Posted May 21, 2003 I've always been fond of Christopher Hitchen's description of Mother Teresa: "a thieving, fanatical Albanian dwarf" Â Â Quote
Off_White Posted May 21, 2003 Posted May 21, 2003 Oh, my bad punctuation. Christopher Hitchens is a writer, known for taking on well loved public figures like Princess Diana and Mother Teresa. He's written a number of books, as well as columns regularly for Vanity Fair and The Nation, among others. He quit The Nation in high dudgeon over their opposition to the Iraq war, and while generally leftist, he prefers to consider himself a contrarian. Agree or disagree with his position, he's often an erudite and entertaining read. Quote
