JoshK Posted May 13, 2003 Posted May 13, 2003 Yah, I fucking left my GPS thingy on the top of the car when I drove away from the end of the mine road near darrington the other day. It's where you park for the whitehorse snow gulch slog. If anybody finds it (yeah right), please lemme know. I'd be very happy and will supply beer, etc. Quote
vegetablebelay Posted May 13, 2003 Posted May 13, 2003 So if we find it, can we use it to prove whether or not you climbed Whitehorse? Quote
gregm Posted May 13, 2003 Posted May 13, 2003 oh the irony. Â i actually once dropped one somewhere in the rampart ridge area, but found it through dilligent backtracking. but for half an hour there i felt your pain. Quote
admin Posted May 15, 2003 Posted May 15, 2003 consider it an opportunity to buy one of those new sexy Gecko's from Garmin, super small and light, but with all the features of an eTrex Quote

The 12 hour battery life they quote is for when you're in some kind of "battery saver" mode. Otherwise, they sound like the cat's ass for a simple GPS. Quote
