We have upgraded to new forum software as of late last year, and it makes everything here so much better!  It is now much easier to do pretty much anything, including write Trip Reports, sell gear, schedule climbing related events, and more. There is a new reputation system that allows for positive contributors to be recognized,  it is possible to tag content with identifiers, drag and drop in images, and it is much easier to embed multimedia content from Youtube, Vimeo, and more.  In all, the site is much more user friendly, bug free, and feature rich!   Whether you're a new user or a grizzled cascadeclimbers.com veteran, we think you'll love the new forums. Enjoy!

Free: used ropes

Recommended Posts

I have 2 dynamic ~10.5mm 50m or 50m+ used ropes I would like to donate to a worthy cause. One is probably something like 13 years old (my 2nd rope ever!) and one is probably around 8-9 years old.

I am not going to give you these for climbing, not even TRing. I will give you these to tow a car, use as emergency rode on a boat, to cut up for knot tying practice, for BDSM, or to leave on an ice route if you are ice farming.

You pick up, Seattle area. PM me if you want them!

2-3 used ropes in great condition but too old for any high angle climing at this stage. Still great for odd things around the house/yard such as a tow rope or tie downs.

I would like to take one of those ropes. I could use new dock lines for my boat. I will drop you a pm.
