WELCOME TO THE CASCADECLIMBERS.COM FORUMS   02/03/18

We have upgraded to new forum software as of late last year, and it makes everything here so much better!  It is now much easier to do pretty much anything, including write Trip Reports, sell gear, schedule climbing related events, and more. There is a new reputation system that allows for positive contributors to be recognized,  it is possible to tag content with identifiers, drag and drop in images, and it is much easier to embed multimedia content from Youtube, Vimeo, and more.  In all, the site is much more user friendly, bug free, and feature rich!   Whether you're a new user or a grizzled cascadeclimbers.com veteran, we think you'll love the new forums. Enjoy!

Warren Miller 1924 -2018

Recommended Posts

If you could ever measure the amount of fun-filled stoke one person gave in a life time, Warren Miller has to be at the top of the list.  Even is you weren't a skier, you couldn't help but catch some enthusiasm for life and the outdoors after watching one of Warren's films and listening to him narrate in that legendary voice.  The positive and fun vibe you left with after taking in one of his yearly stoke experiences will be missed, but he really just started the fire...now its up to the kids to keep it going!

RIP Warren and thank you!

RIP Warren!!

I stopped watching his flicks in 2006 when he sold the rights to his name and voice to Time-Warner (and then they subsequently became long ads for Vail resorts...) but everything before then, especially the old black and white films were amazing!!!
