  1. A bit dusty but perfect shape otherwise. Very little use. Mad Rock 3' x 4' x 5" open. Folds up for insta-couch. Basically this one: Mad Pad – Mad Rock Climbing
  2. Hi everyone! Thanks for giving me your attention I am currently doing a study on technology with a focus on outdoor bouldering apps. If you could take 5 minutes to take my survey I would be extremely extremely grateful, as you will be helping me complete my project, receive a better mark and perhaps get a chance to reflect on what kind of app we actually need when climbing outdoors. I'd like to thank you in advance and I wish everyone a great day! Here is the link: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/K8ZSDT7
  3. Does anyone know what the status of Gold Bar is? Curious about conditions. Going up tomorrow to Reiter Foothills for some bouldering and wanna make sure I'm not gonna end up with wet rock.
  4. So I have 31 day punch passes for The Circuit bouldering gyms in Portland (and Tigard.) I’ve had them for a while, and, well, I don’t like bouldering. Don’t think I’ll ever use them, so I hope somebody can. They are fully transferable and never expire. They’re good for any of their 3 locations. It’s $16 a day to climb there, so let’s say $250 for all 31 passes? I’ll consider offers as well. All they need is your name and date of birth to transfer them. I’d take payment by any of the traditional forms (PayPal, Venmo, etc.), or even meet you at the gym or somewhere if you’d prefer. If interested, maybe shoot me an email at jlawrence10 (at) mac (dot) com and we can chat. Or reply here and I’ll turn on notifications. Thanks!
  5. I have a full year membership to the Portland Rock Gym in off of NE 12th Ave. I bought it right at the beginning of September, so I’m prorating it to be of cost as of now. It was originally $814, so you’re getting the rest of the year at an absolute steal. This is definitely something to consider if you want to save the cost of a membership, while still getting all of the full benefits.I am selling it for $600.I AM NOT AFFILIATED WITH THE GYM ITSELF. I AM TRYING TO SELL MY OWN INDIVIDUAL MEMBERSHIP.EMAIL ME AT cantrell2289@gmail.com IF INTERESTED
  6. BadWater Productions is a youtube channel run by twin brothers Jake and Kyle Love that focuses on creating awesome Bouldering videos in the Pacific Northwest and elsewhere along the West coast. We are avid filmmakers and boulderers and we decideded to combine our two passions to try and make great bouldering content for people to enjoy. Check out some videos and let us know what you think! Our ultimate goal would be to travel to even more bouldering areas around the country (or even the world) and continue to make sick videos that highlight some of the coolest boulders out there. So if you like what you see, subscribe and stick around for even more cool bouldering films. -Jake
  7. So I took an alpine bouldering class with the mounties this last weekend and had all kinds of fun and learned some good skillz that I'm sure every one needs to know.... Just look at the fun we had... Our instructor was so motivating, he was really into this one boulder problem he called it the Mountie Vbeginer... Damn this gaper was good, he sent this problem in just nineteen trys... As soon as we sent, they taught us proper walk off slab down climbing, it was really exciting... All though This gaper could send, he had a little trouble with the walk off... Good thing our instructor was there to spot him... OOOOOOHHHHHHH SHIT!!! I think we should have taken the beginners course and learned the classic dirt slope rappel... Just a good reason to always rappel off any slope 6% or not... And yet another reason to always wear your helmet... I highly recommend every one on this site to take this course, it was not only educational, but a load of fun as well.....
