I agree with what is said above, or turn off everything but GPS (most new Androids allow this). I haven't had the best of luck on Volcanoes and mountains in Washington with Sprint or T-Mobile and Android phoens. All in all I would get a Garmin, well worth than 100, 200 you spend on it.
