From talking with Adam at the Ranger station, it seems that its warm and rainy right now, all the way up to Stevens. Most climbs are out right. Might be some higher alpine lines tho.

Hey Jason, Great event yesterday. You guys offered a great service for a great cause. I'm glad that we were able to make it. Now I just need to get a set of Tools to go with that book of yours. Definitely keep bringing things down to Everett.

I contacted the Mt Adams ranger station last week regarding winter climbing of Admas, and there is a southern route that is open. The closed/fire damage area does include the Cold Springs Campground. But there is a route east of Cold Springs that runs parallel to the reservation and lava bed. Here is what I received from the ranger on Oct 24th. The south side of Mount Adams will no doubt be closed for the entire winter and even into spring. This area has not been made safe for entry, and access to do has snow . However the winter climbing route is open from the East side of the Aiken Lava bed off the 150 road. Please call our front desk at 509-395-3400 M-F 0800 – 1630 for more information.

Hi all, New to the PNW and left my previous climbing partners in the midwest. So now I am looking for people to go out and do some rock and alpine climbing with and show me the spots to hit. I have been doing mostly sport but do have a good start to a trad rack that I would like to get out and use more. I'm a little rusty after taking the summer off but wouldn't take long to get back on my game.
