Takeing a ride up the SS HOOD is ok , if our not in shape. But puting other climbers at risk, because your legs are spend on the way down from the summit. Thats not cool. Climb safe and enjoy it how ever you want.
Very sorry too read about your friends death. Hang glider pilots call it Intermediate syndrome, Hang pilot for over 15yrs, it sucks watching a friend pass before your eyes!!!!!
Not much of a organizer , but the weather,and wind looks best for saturday nite , sunday morning summit. Mid age Trad rock, alpine climber, also 15yrs of Hang glideing experience.
