  1. One bump before they go on ebay!
  2. I have one that Ill part with. I intended on using two for self-belay but just don't. One seems to work just fine (with some back up knots along the way) 50 bucks plus shipping?
  3. For sale: Pair of like new la sportiva miuras size 42. 65 bucks shipped. Pair of more used la sportiva miura size 43. Resoled with 5mm xs edge recently through Boulder Rock and Resole. 50 bucks. thanks!
  4. Set of BD Stoppers 4-13. These are basically brand new. Only a few have even been placed. 45 bucks plus shipping.
  5. Im selling two pairs of rock shoes. Each have been worn less than 5 times. La Sportiva Miura (with XS edge) size 42. 90$plus shipping Scarpa Stix (XS grip) size 44 (10.5). 60$ plus shipping I like both these shoes. I wish I could wear the miura.. it seems so right, alas, after twenty minutes of trad climbing, I just knew that they were too tight and just didn't fit me feet the way I needed them to. I got suckered in the store by the wonderful air-sucking sound I heard when I crammed my foot in to the boot and somehow forgot that what I really need is an all day trad shoe. The stix are awesome training and bouldering shoes. I got them online as a gym shoe hoping that they could work as scarpa tends to run much smaller but alas... too big. So, email me at pyannopoulos@gmail.com if your interested and want pics. give me an offer if you don't think the prices are reasonable, but I think they're pretty good deals. Take care~ Paul
  6. hey im interested in the rope. sent pm
  7. As title suggest, im selling my grivel alp wings with hammer and adze and goulette picks. These are really excellent alpine tools. They are in very good, used condition. i can send pics upon request~ paul
  8. I took a long trip to huaraz (2 months) a few years back and I was definitely antsy about the thought of not bringing my skis. I did not regret my decision even once (well maybe once when looking at the SW face of Artesonraju) . Add on the fact that there is a lot more objective concerns with avalanche conditions and bad weather in their summer (rainy) season (when youll be there), I would be very sketched trying to ski any of those peaks without loads of experience down there. As for renting-- quality control is certainly a big issue. For information on climbing down there i would highly recommend Classic Climbs of the Cordillera Blanca by brad johnson if you dont already have it. its a really sweet book. have a great time in Huaraz. despite it being the off season down there, its still a really fun town.
  9. hey im interested in the ice screws. check your pms.
