I lost my Vantage guidebook on Saturday March 7th in the Feathers area. I shared the book with couple of parties who didn't have the book and somehow left it somewhere there..... I hear it's out-of-print so I'll be really happy to get it back. thanks in advance.

I'll be happy to share with you whatever little I know. I'm based in Redmond and hopefully will get to go to Icicle Creek and Tumwater Canyon area during the season. John Long's book on Climbing anchor is very useful resource.
I use Nomics mostly without pick weights to keep the tools light. I suggest experimenting with and without weights and see how your swing feels. I add weights when I am not climbing to just practice the swing. Lighter set of weights is also available for Nomics. If you want to have hammer option with light weight you might want to try those.
Looking for partners to practice Aid & Big Wall techniques. Aid lead on bolts. Jugging and cleaning. Leading and cleaning traverses.
I am thinking of place in Seattle and East side for practicing on bolts and going to Vantage and Index for trad.
I'd like to start in November.
Thanks!
Ian - I suggest you join the Mountaineers to team up with people doing Alpine climbing.
For those Seattle days when you want to climb at gym, I set up a meetup group just recently. I can send you the link if you like.
Welcome to the area!
I dropped my Mythos shoes attached to a biner while hiking out from Pearly Gates area at Leveanworth. Shoes have my name written.
If you or someone you know found those, please contact me.
Those were my favorite shoes...couple of years old but my most comfortable shoes..
Thanks!
