  2. These are the AT version of the standard neoprene overboots (red). They are cut out for dynafit bindings (which worked well). I suspect they are a medium. My boots have a 300 BSL - about a size 9. These were used on one trip to Denali last year - no holes, no tears, no patches. Pick up a pair for this year's trip cheap. $75 plus shipping from Bozeman. Thanks
  3. This is this year's pack. Size M. Deployed twice, used only a few times this winter. Get your airbag on. Color: Black. $450 plus shipping. Please use jdj at montana dot edu for contact.

    Boots

I have a pair of La Sportiva Trango Evo Light GTX boots size 41.5. They are in good shape, just don't fit. I've mostly used them for ice so they aren't scuffed up. $150 seems fair. Also have some Scarpa Invernos size 9 with cordura supergaitors attached. The boots are heavy but warm. They would get someone started though - $50. Buyer pays shipping. email me at jdj at montana dot edu and I'll send some photos.
  5. I have a new Float 32 pack with canister. $325, you pay shipping. Please email me at: jdj at montana dot edu for photos and info. Thanks.
  6. These are one of the lightest skis on the market today - the Hannibal. 96 cm at the waist, 170 cm long. Mounted with Dynafit Speed bindings - no brakes, very light. Mounted to a 297 BSL and you probably have a couple centimeters either way for adjustment. Used very little. Bases in great shape. Included are BD skins. Also have some Volkl Katanas with Marker bindings. Contact me at jdj(at)montana(dot)edu. I will send you photos.
  7. In excellent shape - barely used. I just don't need it laying about. Yellow. One door. $250 plus shipping.
  8. Don - I'll take them all if you can ship to Bozeman, They would make a nice addition to the outdoor program here at MSU. Paypal?

    Dynafit skis

I've skied these Grand Teton skis only three times, they are too long and too much ski for my weight (although they ski powder great). Length is 173 (see more here: http://www.dynafit.com/product/ski-skins/grand-teton). Mounted with Dynafit Radical FT binding to a 300 mm BSL with room to move either way, includes new BD skins. Entire outfit is like new. Reply here or call five eight seven, five four, five four. Email for photos: jdj at montana dot edu.

  15. Flares? Come on - do some research, buy some bear spray and learn to use it. Travel smart and ignore the silliness. Store your food and cook at least 100 feet away and keep a clean camp. If you keep fish - clean them well away and preferably in a stream where the guts can wash away. Keep your cooking clothes with your food and wear different ones to sleep in. I live in bear country, I travel in it. Bears are not hiding behind trees hoping to pounce. Make a bit of noise and let them know you are in the area. That said - bears in this part of the world are typically hungrier than those in AK or BC so they are more opportunistic. Here is the deal - you owe it to bears to get your act together and avoid them. You get hurt - so does a bear so do some reading, talk to some knowledgeable people and form a mindset not based on fear or ignorance.
  16. I have a HH fiber pile one piece suit (size M) in perfect shape for sale - $75. It fits me a bit large at 5.7 so would easily fit someone up to 5.10. see at this site: http://www.specificworkwear.com/helly-hansen-fibre-pile-spiez-suit-6836-p.asp Also have an overbag. It is thin polar guard on top and nylon on the bottom. $30 takes it. Buyer pays shipping but I will be in the PNW soon. email at jdj(at)montana.edu
  17. Am selling one of these: http://www.trailspace.com/gear/patagonia/down-parka/ Black, size M. These run quite large, I'm 5.7 and swim in it - it would fit a normal large. No longer made but still an outstanding parka for those who need such a thing. $200 plus shipping from Bozeman. Please respond to: jdj at montana.edu thanks
  18. These are one year old, no play in the hinge, great shape - just too small. Liners show almost no wear and soles show normal wear on front. My advice is to buy up one size on these from your normal boot size. Size is 42, price is $200 plus shipping. Please respond to: jdj(at)montana.edu
  19. After using them for part of the season last year I have decided my TLTs are too small. These are the Mountains size 26.5. No slop in the rivet and soles are in great shape. $300 plus shipping. The liners have not been heated and are in good condition. Also have a pair of size 9 Scarpa Denali boots in very good shape - these are not Dynafit compatible. $50 plus shipping. Also have a pair of Scarpa Inverno double boots size 9 ($100 + shipping) with super gaitor attached. Email me at jdj@montana.edu for more info and photos. Cheers
