Trip: Stuart Range, Enchantments - SGC, The Valkyrie Date: 6/4/2013 Trip Report: a couple of recent ascents in the stuart range from this past month. you could call it "frostbite therapy". We hit the stuart glacier couloir in rather mixed conditions early this past month. conditions made for smooth travel in the couloir and rad climbing up on the ridge. car-to-car in just under 15 hours off the couch. a couple weeks later a couple of us ventured back up into the enchantments to give the valkyrie a go. this relatively new route was sick! and totally worthy and deserving of many more future ascents. whit's tr I made a little video ducumenting our ascents... hope you enjoy. "der bavarian town of leavenworth lies within the foothills of the mighty stuart range, an enchanted haven of alpine rock and ice. just a mere stones throw away from a strong vibrant clan of monkeys, these hills serve as an excellent alpine training ground for greater ranges. whether the objective be an old tried and true test piece or a neo-classic with single digit ascents, its always nice when you wake up to the sound of yodeling and schuhplattler, and fall asleep to the smell of spaetzl and schnitzel... did i mention the best weather in the range... willkommen to the Cascade Country Club..." Trip: mooses tooth (ruth gorge) - ham & eggs Date: 4/18/2013 Trip Report: the route was certainly classic, though we caught unseasonably low temps. i made a video documenting the ascent which can be found here: BUT... the video you all should really watch displays the "cold truth" that can unleash itself sometimes unknowingly in the cold cold 'pine. we were the first to summit the peak for the season, and the adventure did not disappoint.

Trip: Frey - northern patagonia - various - alpine cragging Date: 12/10/2012 Trip Report: heres a little video i threw together of beau's and my couple day stay in frey, down in patagonia this past dec. We were fortunate enough to find good weather during our time there and were able to get on several good routes. super rad zone, with a really cool vibe. Video:

Trip: patagonia - whillans-cochrane Date: 11/29/2012 Trip Report: this past nov/dec beau and i had an awesome adventure down in patagonia. here is link to a little video i put together of our climb on aguja poincenot.
