  1. You identify the shoes so I can feel sure they find their way to the correct home! I'm poor about checking my messages, so a text would probably work best: 360 510 0717
  2. I cleaned your cam the other day. More than happy to return it for free if you stop by Ballard within the next several days. Lukic 360.510.0717
  3. My friend found a rope, rope bag and helmet down by gasworks park in Seattle that had been sitting by an apartment building for over a day. He was thinking it was possibly stolen and discarded when the thief realized the bag had a rope. Email to identify: rslukic@yahoo.com
  4. Found the rope today at Index. Thanks to all you honest folks who have been climbing along the lower town wall during this beautiful weather!
  5. Hi, A group of us were climbing around the lower town wall and may have left a blue Sterling 9.7mm rope in a red metolious rope bag. I think it would have been at the bottom of Godzilla or City Park, but may have been moved elsewhere. Thanks, Lukic
  6. I don't generally tape, but the best price I've seen on athletic tape is at Albertson's. You can buy a 4 pack for $8, or at least you could but it's been a long time since I've bought one.
  7. Most of this has already been mentioned, but I think the Roger's Corner/Breakfast of Champions/Gorilla My Dreams/Plum Pudding link up is a super fun way to get 4 pitches in.
  8. I cleaned your cam today and am more than happy to get it back to you, no charge since it'll be my good deed for the week. Always happy to reunite a climber with their long lost gear. It's still in good shape I live in Seattle and work in the U District tomorrow and should be around locally the rest of the week. I'll PM you my contact info.
  9. Last time I was in Pro Mountain Sports in Seattle, Jim had a pair of Rambos for 40% off...
  10. I've been a fan of the Western Heritage Inn. They have a hot tub and sauna, which is awesome after climbing, and free breakfast. The breakfast is buffet style and isn't the greatest in the world, but it's free, OK, there's plenty of it and you can Fred Beckey some PB & J and bagels for lunch. I've stayed there for $50-60 a night for two beds. If you find a cheap rate at Expedia or some other website, call WHI direct and they'll match it to cut out the middle man.
  11. Your tool was found by the party climbing next to us. I don't know them, but they said they would look for the owner on here, so hopefully they contact you soon.
  12. If anyone knows the climber, please tell them to contact me. My partners and I cleaned a piece of their gear from Roger's Corner and I would like to return it if possible. Thanks, Lukic
  13. The Central Washington Bouldering book has both sides of that rock rated as V1 and not to sound snide, but it's Index and not the gym. I certainly haven't bouldered tons outside, but everyone should know that gym ratings don't equate to real rock anywhere. This applies to bouldering as well as roped climbing.
  14. Hey all, Partner for tomorrow is sick and can't go. I would love to take advantage of the weather and get out for some ice. I'd be interested in something alpine or some ice at Alpental or Leavenworth. Thanks, Lukic
  15. You might also want to check out this tool from Petzl. I haven't used it myself, but saw one at Pro Mountain Sports in the U-District. The adjustable pinky rest seemed pretty cool for moderate alpine climbing. http://www.petzl.com/en/outdoor/classic-mountaineering-ice-axes/sumtec
