  1. Helly Hansen Jacket sold
  2. Lowe Pack sold
  3. Crampons, harness, Jansport bag and figure 8 pending.
  4. No size on the Lowe pack. The frame configuration is fully adjustable to just about any size torso. This is part of the reason I like this pack. It was nice that I sized it for me, but if I wanted to loan it out there was no issue, just quickly change the configuration of the pack. There was a previous sale of a pack like this that represented it really well. link below. http://cascadeclimbers.com/forum/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Board=10&Number=725457&Searchpage=2&Main=54430&Words=Delmarco&topic=0&Search=true#Post725457
  5. Apparently I can't figure out how to get these pictures to upload. Descriptions are below, but you can see pictures of each item at this link. sorry for the inconvenience. http://www.flickr.com/photos/23417666@N02/ _____________________________________________________ So I finally took the time to clean out the gear closet a bit... there's some nice stuff in here! I will try to keep up with this post and my PMs as best I can, but for quicker response, email me at LORENRM at HOTMAIL dot COM La Sportiva Nepal EVO Extreme. $250 Not much needs to be said about these boots. Top of the line climbing boots. Insulated. Great for mountaineering, ice climbing, you name it. These are in great shape. Size 42.5 (mens 9 1/2)They just never fit my foot right. La Sportiva Makalu $100 You would have thought I would learn the the Sportiva's in the 42.5 didn't fit me. Nonetheless, here is another pair of quality boots. Used, but in great shape. Sealed and ready to hit the mountains! Mountain Hardwear Tenacity Jacket. $150 My wife bought this in a hurry and it turns out it was too big for her (Women's size 10). This jacket is great - goretex and super tough. If you are a smaller guy (in stature - I don't want to know about what you've got "down there")this would be a great jacket for you as well. It looks abit purple in the picture, but it is black. Columbia lighweight wind jacket. $25 Aah, the REI super clearance sale. I bought this jacket for my wife and, to make a long story short, she apparently didn't need another jacket. Worn once and in perfect shape. Oh, and while it is not really climbing gear, I'll post it anyway. Weight bench $100. Bench (regular plus incline & decline) lat /pull down bar. leg curl / extension. Bicep attachment. bar bell, dumb bells, and curl bar. 125 pound weight set SOLD Lowe Alpine Countuor IV 90+15 $100 Helly Hansen ski (etc) jacket. $75 SMC 12 point crampons $30 Climbing harness - size medium. $20 Jansport travel bag. $15 Figure 8 Outdoor Research Gripper Gloves $15

    Free stuff

If the rope is / becomes available, I'll take it. My dog needs a cool leash!
  7. A note from the weekend shopping... Although not the cheapest for other gear, nor a large amount of boots stocked and available at the store, Feathered Friends is definitely the place to go to get some really good input from guys that area out there actually doing it. Also, apparently its climbing boot season, because wherever I checked was out of the boots / sizes to compare side by side. So with a bit of mix and match, I had to order a few and will do my comparison at home next weekend (I hope the wife doesn't see the visa bill this week). Thanks to all for your input. I think between the Trangos, the Chomoz or the Asolo Expert, I am sure to find a good boot. BTW - Not that it is a huge deal at this price range, but REI online has the LS Trangos $20 cheaper than anywhere else right now.
  8. Cheam... how are they on a glacier? Still waterproof after extended wear? I just ask b/c I was told that after a while they don't hold water out so well... but that was just by one person, so, I woudl be initerested in hearing your take as well. I'll take a look at the Asolos and try Feathered friends too. Thanks All!
  9. Thanks for the suggestions. Max, those Scarpas are nice boots. The Charmoz fit well, but couldn't find the Triolet. They said that with more leather, they would say truly waterproof longer than the Charmoz. I think I'll try to get the Triolet online... unless anyone is aware of anyplace in Seattle that carries them (didn't see them at REI or pro mountain)
  10. hard to find, eh? are they discontinued? i didn't see them on the Sportiva website. I'll keep looking. Thanks. still itersted in hearing other opinons as well.
  11. Up until this point, I have been using a two boot system. Light hikers for the approach and plastics once I get to the white stuff. Or on something like rainier, just wearing the plastics the whole time. I am looking to simplify and pare down on weight by switching to using a single, soft sided boot that will allow a little easier time on the approach, but be stiff and warm enough to climb three seasons. I would appreciate any feedback on what you like - or don't like about boots you used, have used or could recommend. Thanks in advance.
  12. check out whittaker mountaineering. They sell off thier last season rentals at a pretty good deal. $40 http://www.whittakermountaineering.com/detail.asp?p=639&c=Used+Gear&cat=223&rootid=211&root=Items%20on%20Sale

  14. If anyone else was interested or know someone that might be, in that Lowe 90+15 pack, I have one idential to that which was purchased by lightning. I would post pictures, but Delmarco did a fantastic job of representing what the pack is like, so I won't repost. It is in great shape. It has been used only a few times over the years and will undoubtedly last for many more. Let me know if anyone is intersted.
  15. I have a dark blue 1997 4WD Pathfinder that I am looking to sell. Appx 135k miles. It is in good, but not perfect shape and gets me everywhere I need to go. It has been great in snow and getting to trailheads. I have fit 4 people comfortably with full, weeklong filled packs and a dog on the big back cargo area. Tires are in good shape and have plenty of life. Just had the water pump replaced too, so that should be good for many more years to come. You are welcome to have it checked out before buying. I was looking to get closer to $4500, but let's talk.
  16. Some friends and I are training for some local volcano climbs this summer and are looking for good training hikes along the I-90 corridor. Ideal would be good, quick elevation, but that can be done in a half a day or so. We have done Si, Mailbox, Teneriffe, McClellan Butte, Granite Mtn and Muir among other, lesser hikes. We could go back and double up on some of these, but would like to vary it up. Any suggestions?
