    lol surprisingly it is a sweet job. already having a year of experience in my field gives me a leg up on not having to do the crap intern work. thanks for the advice guys... most of you said what i was thinking, but of course i needed someone else to tell it to me

    if you were to graduate college with an offer from a good company and the position was a dream position, would you A. still move out to seattle because you really want to live there B. stay in boston (Another city you love, but not as much as seattle) for a year or two and get the good experience, money, and a good reference. Then move to seattle.

  8. i just started reading this book titled Thin Ice by Mark Bowen http://www.mark-bowen.com/book.html super interesting discusses global warming and talks about some of the studies that have gone on and are going on some of the the worlds largest (and quickly shrinking) glaciers anyways... just my 2 cents

  10. thanks for the advice... ill def check out UW once i get there. ntm- from what ive seen housing in seattle is wicked cheap (compared to my native boston ma) so ive been considering renting a house. layton- thanks for the thread. i feel a bit silly bc i spent 3 months in seattle and i still dont know the names of the little neighborhoods.
  11. Hey, im new to this forum and soon be to new to seattle wa. Right now im looking for apt/rooms for rent in seattle, but being a climber/hiker/cyclist im hoping to find some outdoorsy-friendly roommates. Im 22 F super laid back and a good cook. Anyone know of a good place to start looking? Thanks
