  2. Surprisingly free this weekend, and looking to head to the mountains. No particular intention other than being outside and climbing something. Sport, trad, alpine, volcano, whatever. Any takers?

I just want to get out. I am leaving the country on Sunday morning, so I have to be back sat night. Any takers? PM me if interested

  8. Rarely post, but I grew up in Missoula so i'll speak up. The Rock Garden climbing gym closed last December. A guidebook was just released for Lost Horse, which is an hour drive from Missoula and has some good bouldering and routes. I was told that a new guidebook is in the works for Lolo bouldering, I don't know who's writing it, but I know some hard problems are going up in that area. Also a new guidebook came out a few years back for Butte, which includes Whiskey-some of the best bouldering i've ever done, a little over an hour from missoula...and then there's Lake Koocanusa. Pretty good stuff if you like having an adventure.
  9. 5 books Vol. 44-48. $30. PM. In U-district, Seattle.
  10. I remember seeing that buttress a few years ago and thinking it looked like a mini-Shoshone...what are the routes like?
  11. The ticks are gone after the temperatures start to go up...i just heard from a friend in Missoula that everything's on fire back there, good you got out before they start closing everything.
  12. Anyone have any extra snow pickets laying around that they would like to get rid of? Just looking for a couple, I don't really have a lot of extra money to spend on new ones, so I was hoping someone might want to sling some off for less than retail price. -T
  13. I told my parents i would come back home that weekend, so I think I'll be in Missoula around then. I haven't climbed Shoshone in a couple years...great route. Let me know if you haven't found anyone to do it with.
