  1. Down for Shuksan, pm me with more details. Gotta check schedule though, better chance I can go on a weekday, but we will see.
  2. I would be up for anything near Washington Pass. Pm me a day or two before you wanna climb.
  3. I'll be on Baker from the 3-8th, and could possibly make it to Rainier during those dates if you needed an extra. Gotta check with bossman first!
  4. I appreciate it man! Look forward to seeing them!
  5. Right on Wayne! I should also add that anyone looking to do the route should look hard for a fixed line.
  6. Ok, so if you have not been on this route, then you should go. The rock on the face is top quality as far as Mazama goes. The crux is a slab 5.11 but its protected with too many bolts. Actually, just about all of the route is well protected, except for one at the begging of a 10 where you walk 30 feet out to the first bolt. Only one "move the belay" which beats the hell out of what I have seen from topos of other routes. Easy Approach, pm if you have questions.
  7. Any more info on the route? I just moved to mazama and if its good then I would like to try it.Any chance you have a picture and could draw it? Thanks
  8. Anyone want to do something on Liberty Bell this week? I am open to ideas, and will try any route.Name is Kane and my cell is 1318-278-9645, I also live right at the pass so anytime is fine.
  9. Moved to mazama and wanna climb as much as I can. If anyone needs a partner for anything near highway 20, I am 10 minutes from Washington pass. Thanks!
  10. Got the Ridgerest and Prolite 4 combo. Thanks alot guys!
  11. This is one of the last things I need for my trip. Just hoping to hear from you guys on what you think. Gotta have the combination, so I Was thinking ThermaRest Prolite 4, and a Z-Lite or Ridgerest. I know there are so many other pads out there, but should I just stick to this one? How is Insulmat?
  12. Way to go AlaskaNative, I am going to take a closer look at your pst, check all the links, and narrow down what I want. Btw, you never mentioned what tent you chose? THANKS!
  13. On another note these seem to fit the boots perfectly. Is there anything I should be aware of? Can I have put them on too tight? Also, I found two ways to get them to fit and stay on well. One is how they are pictured, and another is with the front bar, moved to the very front hole closest too the points. Any reason using the hole closest to the poins would be better? On the harness what should I do with all the extra slack? Thanks
  14. I ended up getting Crocodile Gaiters. The crampons and boots came in, and I got some questions. I am the kinda person that can't leave something alone if it can be bettered. The anti-botts don't seem to fit as good as they could. Is this normal? The bar with holes bumps into them. I think if I can shave a bit of the botts, then they would seat alot better. IT actually looks like they are supposed to seat like I want them too...If you have Sabertooths let me know if this is a problem. I am including a picture....
  15. Hey man, Got my Boots in today, and all I can say is I got lucky. The Ice 9000's fit my feet perfect. I wear a 10.5 tenni and got the 10.5 in the Boots. My foot length is 10 inches from big toe to back of heel. The widest part of my foot is about 4 inches, and that is near the front under the toes. I cant comment on how they hold up yet...anyway, just know I am very pleased with them.
  16. I know how much people like the I-tent, but the tempest does not seem to get as much recognition. I found one new for 350, and I am tempted to buy it. Its 2 lbs heavier then the I, has 2 doors, and 4 extra square ft......Do you guys think its a good deal? Is there any reason I should just wait for an I-tent? Also, the Vestibule is attached and not a clip on like the I .
  17. Ice 9000, I ll tell you how they are when they get here, can't comment on the others but the spantick I hear is a great boot
  18. Ask Feathered friends about the fabrics themselves...They are are super helpful bunch.
  19. Haha, I will be in anything but full arcitc this trip. Actually looking for ways to cool down my feet because they will probably be in a oven.....Is it totally stupid to just bring some cotten socks for hot days? Gaiters, I have to have them for the AAI, not sure if they would allow integrated ones..
  20. Alright fella's, mrodaddy graciously sold me his sabertooths! THANKS ALOT MAN!!! Now on to some other questions Here is my setup for my feet: Liner Socks? Need to get, its minute, but does anyone have a preference? Smartwool Expedition Heavyweight Vasque Ice 9000's Sabertooth Pro's Wire bail in front Gaiters? Still need some, does anyone have a preference? This is probably a dumb question, but does anyone ever wish that their front points were sharper? I like putting my touch on something or just making it that tad bit better, but I know being too sharm can cause breakage...

It might have been a B-Rated Pick on yours. My last axe I got, was mistakenly a B-Rated. Even New it was dull, the adze was a joke. If it is indeed how you say, then I ll put my touches on it.
  22. Seemed like a good alternative to the Evolution. I really like the T-pick Rating, and hopefully its going to be good as a workhorse mountaineering axe. So has anyone used it? The only thing I could see happening is the rubber handle near the bottem of the shaft loosening or getting messed up from plunging into the snow. Got a good deal too:) Here is a picture http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=005&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWN%3AIT&viewitem=&item=150107990517&rd=1&rd=1
  23. If your serious about selling the bd's than I ll take um partna. Send more information to my email, Kane_schutzman@hotmail.com . Thanks for the info on the Sarkens, I need to get to where I can try them all, and that will not be until I am acually in Washington, after my course, in which it will be too late.
  24. Selkirk, not sure what to think..haha you completely contradicted what a guy on RC.com said. Check it out, well. I ll just quote him on here.
  25. Looked at the Sarkens, and they do look nice. The front point looks really beefy. Damn, now there is another crampon in the running
