  1. Mow lawn, fishin' for walleye, backstraps for dinner = 40oz. of mickeys for desert. Almost a perfect day except the work thing for most of the day.
  2. I use the GNC wheybolic extreme 60. I have used it for about 2 months, and it is working good for me. 3 scoops calories 270 total fat 1g sat. fat 0.5g trans fat 0g total carb 6g protein 60g I split the serving between pre & post work out. It seems to work good, over 2 months I have increased overall strength (every week) and notice looking leaner, but have gained about 4 pounds. I hit the gym every day, and hit a muscle group per workout for about 1 hour.
  3. Rampage will fight Dan "hollywood" Henderson for his first title Defense. Chuck was complaining that he was not going to tap, but in slow motion Chucks arms went flat on the mat. John Mcarthy did the right thing by jumping in.
  4. I am going to have to go with "Rampage" on this one. Chuck has been on the mountain way to long. I thought Matt Hughes would never get beat, after "GSP" beat him I thought he would reign for a long time, then Matt Sera beat him. I think it is time for Chuck to lose one. It is MMA, one kick to the side of the head, one hammer to the chin, one lapse of defence and someone puts you to sleep. Anyone could win any night.
  5. How I look at: You can only blame a gun for killing somebody, if you can blame a pencil for spelling a word wrong. This issue will never be resolved. You could argue why we don't need guns, and I will not change my stand. I could argue with you why we need guns, and you will not change your stand. It will always be a stalemate. I think the gun issue is alot like the abortion issue.
  6. mmmmmmmmmmmmm............. taun taun cheeseburgers. I like mine with double cheese, and peppers!
  7. At my house yes it would make a difference, but i like violent video games, violent movies and I can pass an instant check at the local gun shop.
  8. I do not know how to add the neat little "quote thingy" but this is in reply to ivan. "how essential is gun ownership in 2007 compared to 1797? at our countries founding current situation we were in close contact with hostile indian tribes countries and nation-states psychos far more powerful sicker than us - most americans lived on the frontiers cities or in the sticks ghettos and needed their weapons for home defense and obtaining meat keeping the neighbor from raping thier daughters - the police were quite primitive undermanned and under gunned, could not be called quickly and were to busy to get to every call, and could not be counted on at all for protection, certainly not rapidly- our armies were equally unreliable and a strong militia of self-equipped citizens was essential to repel attacks for which we would have virtually no warning which of those conditions is still so pressing today?" I think all of them concern me very much, but I am just a gun nut.
  9. First off let me say I am glad I found this site. I like to climb, I feel like I have been born to do this. Most of the time I take on these challenges by myself (I think you guys call it solo). I don't have any expert (or novice) experience. I have never been out West to climb the serious mountains. I have put together this little Trip Report on one of my most traversed climbs. I usually climb everyday of the week, but the difficulty of my climbs is no where near what I have seen on this site. I am hoping to get out west soon and try my hand at some real climbing, but for now here is my report. This is the view as you approach the start of the climb. This is the view as you reach the first landing looking back at the approach. (notice no ropes or other devices - I think this is called free climbing?)There a lot of trash left around this climb. Yes that is a mini-stick lying at the bottom. This is the view to the summit. Now mind you the landing is only 1/2 way to the summit. This is the view from the summit to the first landing. Looking down at flat land. If you slip here you are in serious trouble. Some of the scenery from the top. Now I know what you guys are going to say "I do that stuff everyday, This guy is a clown for posting this easy stuff". There are varying difficulties for this same route. It might not be cool to say this, but I have done this route a number of times after a couple 40oz. of Mickeys, and let me tell you when you have no lights, this route will make you stumble. The gear I have is very light. Most of the time I do this climb I have wool socks and some comfy pants along with a sweatshirt. I do not know if that is hardcore, but I feel as if I do not need anything else. Well that is about all I have. I hope to find some useful tips and tricks on this site so maybe someday I can go for some more challenges.
