  1. yeah, they won't pay me for my opinion like that. It's cause I'm a skinny white male. They're prejudice. But with 65 down and 135 to go, then i'll at least me qualified to post my opinion here. YEAH!
  2. Who are you quoting?
  3. no, can't speculate on that. do you?
  4. I speculate such, as do other people. I still don't have any report as to whether the footprints were down to the cave/anchor, or up from it. I read the footprints disappeared at the top, so who knows. You can't go by the photos cause you don't know if someone flipped the pic 90 degrees or more before publishing it. You can't tell which way is up or down. At this point, with all the inaccuracies, I'm not sure anything short of photos is worth much. Neither has anyone put together a drawing of the footprints to show where they went and when. If it weren't for the recovering staff sgt, I wouldn't even know there were two sets of prints. The photos indicate there was only one set. No one has produced a second photo to my knowledge.
  5. yeah, by building a city in a bowl shaped lake and putting up levies for a false sense of security. smart, real smart. just like the city's IQ. At the end of the day, that town will be vanilla!
  6. no, 141, wait, no,
  7. make that 142.
  8. 57 down, 143 to go.
  9. and Bush doesn't care about Katrina victims with no relatives who hang out at Superdomes. He only sent them a blank check to shut up their stupid racist mayor.
  10. Hey newbies, haven't you heard? You have no right to comment here with less than 200 posts to your credit. So type something stupid 200 times like the other guys to earn your stupid points. Then you will have arrived and can kid yourself into thinking someone is taking you seriously. Makes perfect sense.
  11. I thought he said he was on an airplane.
  12. He's not a search and rescue team, sorry.
  13. That explains why he was smiling and happy in the summit pics. There was nothing injury-wise to be concerned about, cause there was no injury. I was curious about that, even before todays autopsy report. Like so many other reports, it didn't make sense. I hope the journalists are proud of themselves. If their livelihoods were dependant on accuracy, they'd be in the unemployment line.
  14. The sheriff forgets to take his prozac every couple of days. He didn't even give the Ranger station note to Airborne until several days after the media got ahold of it.
  15. No he doesn't. But he is waiting PATIENTLY for you to not hate him.
  16. hey, stand way over there when the lightening strikes ok?
  17. Lemme guess, that's ghettospeak for two quarters.
  18. Excuse me? You did nothing of the sort. And you have no one but me to thank for ending the speculative posts while all you did is contribute to the problem. Admin is definitely not in your future. Now show some appreciation and contribute to support my good deeds buy clicking on the link below to make a paypal donation. http://www.kevboner.com
  19. He does, but he said, if they won't work, they shouldn't eat. I guess that means they can die hungry. How long would they last without food? With or without a blizzard? I'd sooner help an injured teenage lesbian mother with a job who doesn't think it's my duty to support their lazy butts and their babies. I've got my own bills to pay. Dem o crat - someone who wants to have their cake and EAT YOURS TOO!
  20. NBC is reporting no visible signs of a disabling injury. Chalk up another media contradiction. What the heck's going on up there?
  21. Once again, Rosie proves that her mouth is bigger than her brain. And to think there are couch-sitting, soap-opera loving, Oprah-crying, Bon-Bon eating trailer trash willing to watch and support her fat ass. She'd rather the rescue money go to unwed teenage ghetto lesbian mothers who would rather spend their lives on the govt. dole than to dare get up and go to work to manage a fitness center, (climber #1), practice law, (#2) or start their own business (#3). I'm glad the sheriff had the guts to say what he did. *takes number and stands in neck-choking line, hoping his hands aren't too small to reach around it.
  22. I have to go now. I think I helped solve a huge problem with the original thread. It was pretty ridiculous. I'm thankful that ultimately, it appears that an admin made a decision and that's fine with me, whether you agree with it or not. If you don't like speculation, then you didn't like it over there either, right? So you've lost nothing, and perhaps gained something due to it's relocation. I agree that nastiness doesn't need to be mixed with honest questions, sincere condolences, and SAR reports from people in-the-know. Unfortunately, it appears that nastiness and speculation can't be separate. I'll be back later tonight to see how much longer this thread has become without me, thanks to all the sprayers, speculators, 2nd guessers, potty-mouths, and climber-bashers (ignorant newbies and so-called 'veterans' alike.) No, I'm not taking bets as to how many pages you guys can come up with, but nothing will surprise me.
  23. 1. OK, where's the official cascadeclimbers definition of spray? Spray and speculation are not the same. 2. You don't make sense to me. It seems that talking about the climbers in whatever fashion is fine with you, as long as the thread is categorized and titled properly? You've got to be kidding. 3. Your words are most disrespectful of the lost.
  24. But if you get injured bad enough, all that equipment can't help you, especially in a blizzard.
